LibraryThe Amarillo Area Foundation's Funding Research and Nonprofit Management
Library (Foundation Library) is a storehouse of information on public
and private funding sources, philanthropy, and nonprofit management
issues. As a Cooperating Collection of The Foundation Center of New
York, the Foundation Library holds the Center’s core collection. The
collection
includes The Foundation Directory Online, a popular
resource containing information on all known U.S. grantmakers — over
80,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grantmaking public
charities.
The library is open to the public, free of charge, Monday
through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Foundation Library staff are
available for basic reference assistance, orientations, and research
training.

Online Library
As a result of a recent project coordinated by the Texas Nonprofit
Management Assistance Network of San Antonio, the Foundation Library and
eight other Texas nonprofit assistance libraries are now online. You can
access an online searchable catalog of the holdings of all nine
libraries.
Simply click the link below to view a listing of the many books,
videos, CD’s, and periodicals available. In addition, if a Library
Partner finds material that is not available locally, but held by one of
the participating collections, they may contact Foundation Library staff
to request an inter-library loan.
For questions about the online library catalog, contact Katharyn at katharyn@aaf-hf.org or
