operate effectively and ensure a stable future, nonprofit organizations often need more than grant money.
The Amarillo Area
Foundation offers management and technical assistance to 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organizations in the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle
through the Amarillo Area Foundation Nonprofit Service Center. The work of
the Center is supported through the generosity of the
Foundation's supporting organization, The Don and Sybil Harrington
Foundation.

Library
A cooperating collection of The Foundation Center of New York, the
nonprofit management and funding information library holds grant
directories, guides for proposal writing, board training manuals, and a

Consulting Services
For more in-depth assistance, fee-based contract services are available
in areas such as:
- Board training
- Strategic planning
- Capital campaign feasibility studies/training
- Fundraising and committee work
- Technical assistance
Fees are based on scope and complexity of work, and
relation to other Foundation projects. For more info about

Workshops
Workshops on a variety of nonprofit topics are offered monthly. Fees for workshops range from $35 to $125, depending upon subject, time
frame, and speaker. Contact the Center for information about upcoming
workshops.

Pricing
Fees for consulting services vary by the scope of the project,
complexity, duration, and personnel assigned. Fees are based on hourly
rates ranging from $80 to $125. Estimates can be given on an hourly,
project, annual contract or retainer basis.
